How to reset or factory restore Plum Velocity II device?
The Plum Velocity II is a love tech device used for various functions such as pleasuring, relaxation, and stress relief. However, it can sometimes become unresponsive, malfunction, or experience certain issues that may require a device reset. In this case, there are two commonly recommended ways to reset or factory reset a Plum Velocity II device:
1. Reset mode:
- Before attempting to reset the device to its factory settings, make sure to check if there are any updates available for the device. If yes, update the device to the latest firmware.
- Turn on the Plum Velocity II device and press and hold the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. This will place the device in reset mode.
- Using the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons, navigate to 'Ok' and select the 'Language' option. Press and hold the 'Up' button until 'English' or 'Zone' (based on your preferred language) is selected.
- Now, navigate to 'Ok' again and select 'Proceed'. You will be prompted with a warning message - "All data on this device will be erased. Are you sure?" Press 'Ok' to proceed with the reset process.
- Wait for the device to reset for a few minutes, and once done, you will be prompted to enter the factory password - '0000000000'. Enter the factory password and press 'Ok'.
- The device will now reset to its factory settings, and the Plum Velocity II logo will appear on the screen. Reconnect the device to your computer and start using it as usual.
2. Factory Reset:
- The factory reset option will delete all data and settings on your device, including any customized settings, preferences, and apps. Make sure to save any important data before attempting a factory reset.
- As per the manufacturer's instructions, turn on the Plum Velocity II device and press and hold the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons simultaneously for at least 15 seconds. The device should vibrate once, indicating that you've entered factory reset mode.
- Using the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons, navigate to 'Ok' and select 'Delete All Data'. Press and hold the 'Down' button until 'Delete' is selected.
- Once you select 'Delete', the device will begin the deletion process, and it may take several minutes to complete. Keep the device connected to your computer and wait until the process is finished.
- Once the deletion process is complete, the device will reset to its factory settings, and the Plum Velocity II logo will appear on the screen. Reconnect the device to your computer and start using it as usual.
