How to reset or factory restore verykool i315N device?
The VERYKOOL i315N device is a unique device that comes with an innovative cooling technology. However, in case you want to reset or factory restore the device, you can easily do so with the steps provided below.
Before we proceed, it is important to understand the difference between a soft reset and a hard reset. A soft reset resets only the device's settings, while a hard reset resets the device to its original factory settings, erasing all data and personalization. Therefore, a hard reset is only recommended when you want to start fresh with the device.
Soft Reset:
1. Turn off the device by pressing and holding the power button until the device shuts down.
2. Press and hold the power button and dial pad in (#) simultaneously until the device enters the repair mode.
3. Press 9 on the dial pad to proceed to the next menu.
4. Press 9 again to select the "Soft Side" option.
5. Press and hold the 0 button for a few seconds till the option starts flashing.
6. Press 0 to reset it.
7. Press the # button to exit the repair mode.
Hard Reset (factory reset):
1. Turn off the device by pressing and holding the power button until the device shuts down.
2. Press the power button and the volume up button simultaneously until the device enters the recovery mode.
3. Press the volume down button until the "Wipe data/factory reset" option appears.
4. Highlight the option using the volume data keys and press the power button to select it.
5. Confirm the action by pressing the "Yes--delete all user data" option on the screen.
6. Wait for the device to reset, which may take several minutes.
7. When the device restarts, you will be prompted to set up the device from scratch.
Note: Performing a hard reset will delete all data, including personalizations, apps, and images. Therefore, it is recommended to perform a hard reset only when you are certain that you want to start fresh with the device.
