How to reset or factory restore Qtek 9100 device?
Qtek 9100 is an old device and might not be readily available for purchase. However, we will provide information on how to reset or factory restore a Qtek 9100 device that you might still have in your possession.
Before proceeding with the reset, it is advisable to back up all important data as it will be deleted during the process.
1. Hard Reset:
A hard reset is the most common method of resetting a phone's software. It basically power cycles the phone, which will erase all the data on the phone. Here's how to do it:
a. Turn off your Qtek 9100 device.
b. Press and hold the power button until the phone restarts.
c. Press and hold the power button for another 10 seconds.
d. Your Qtek 9100 device will now enter recovery mode.
e. In recovery mode, use the volume buttons to select and press the power button to select "Factory Data Reset".
f. Once the Factory Data Reset is selected, confirm it by pressing the power button.
g. The phone will now begin to reset and erase all the data on it.
Note: Be careful when using the hard reset as it will erase all data on the phone. Make sure you have backed up all important data before proceeding with the reset.
2. Software Update:
A software update is another way to reset your Qtek 9100 device. This method should be used if you have received a software update for your device. Here's how to do it:
a. Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update.
b. If an update is available, tap on Download and Install.
c. Once the update is installed, the phone will reset and all the data on it will be deleted.
Note: Not all devices may have received software updates, so this method may not be available to all users.
3. PC Reset:
A PC reset is done through a computer and can be used to reset your Qtek 9100 device. Here's how to do it:
a. Connect your Qtek 9100 device to your computer using a USB cable.
b. Install the phone driver on your pc if it is not already installed.
c. Open the Qtek 9100 device driver setup.
d. Click on UEFI FLASH and select Firmware Update.
e. Download and install the latest firmware file on your computer.
