How to reset or factory restore Emporia Talk Comfort device?
There are two ways to reset or factory restore an Emporia Talk Comfort device:
Method 1: Using the Emporia Talk Comfort App
1. Download and install the Emporia Talk Comfort app on your smartphone.
2. Open the app and log in using your account credentials.
3. Tap on the "Devices" menu and select "Emporia Talk Comfort".
4. Select the device that you want to reset.
5. Tap on the "Reset" button.
6. Enter the confirmation code when prompted. This code is sent to your email address associated with your account.
7. Wait for the device to reset. Reboot the device by pressing and holding the power button until it turns off, then turning it back on.
8. Follow the prompts to set up the device as a new device.
Method 2: Using the External Speakers Button
1. Press and hold the external speakers button located on the back of the device until it starts flashing rapidly.
2. Release the button and wait for the device to enter reset mode.
3. Press and hold the reset button located on the back of the device until it starts flashing rapidly.
4. Release the reset button and wait for the device to enter bootloader mode.
5. Connect the device to your computer using a USB cable.
6. Open the Emporia Talk Comfort app on your computer and select "Restore Firmware".
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore the firmware to the latest version.
8. Disconnect the device from your computer and wait for it to boot up.
9. Follow the prompts to set up the device as a new device.
