How to reset or factory restore Emporia Care Plus device?

If your device is not working properly or you need to start fresh for some reason, you may want to reset or factory reset it. Here are the most common and recommended ways to reset or factory restore an Emporia Care Plus device:
1. Resetting the device through the app:
The first way to reset your Emporia Care Plus device is through the app. Here's how:
a. Open the Emporia app on your phone.
b. Tap on the device you want to reset.
c. Tap on the "Reset Device" button.
d. Confirm the reset by tapping on "Yes, Reset Device."
e. Wait for the device to reset, which may take a few minutes.
2. Resetting the device through the phone:
If you don't have access to the app or if you prefer to reset the device through the phone, you can follow these steps:
a. Turn off the device.
b. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
c. Release the power button and wait for the device to turn on.
d. When the device turns on, press and hold the power button systematically until the Power Off/Restart screen appears.
e. Select "Restart" and tap the screen until the device turns off.
f. Repeat steps c-e until you are on the Emporia Care Plus bootloader screen.
g. On the bootloader screen, tap the white box with an exclamation mark to enter the bootloader menu.
