How to reset or factory restore BLU Energy X Plus device?
BLU Energy X Plus is a smartphone that can be reset or factory restored to its default settings if it is facing some software-related issues or if you want to start afresh with a clean slate device. In this article, we will discuss the two most common and recommended ways to reset or factory restore BLU Energy X Plus device:
Method 1: Software Update Factory Reset
1. Go to Settings on your BLU Energy X Plus device
2. Tap on Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset
3. You will be prompted with the confirmation message "Are you sure you want to perform a factory data reset?" Tap on Yes.
4. Wait for the device to reset itself, which may take a few minutes.
Method 2: Bootloader Reset Using ADB
1. Connect your BLU Energy X Plus device to your computer using a USB cable.
2. Enable USB Debugging on your device, go to Settings > Developer options > USB Debugging
3. Open a command prompt on your computer and type "adb reboot bootloader". This will reboot your device into bootloader mode.
4. Connect your device to the internet and check for updates in the bootloader mode.
5. Once an update is available, choose to accept it and wait for the device to restart.
6. Boot your device and go to Recovery mode by pressing and holding the Power and Volume buttons simultaneously.
7. In the recovery mode, tap on Factory Data Reset > Yes.
8. Wait for the device to reset itself, which may take a few minutes.
It is important to note that the first method should be tried before proceeding to the second method as it is a software update, and it can solve most of the software-related issues. If you are still having the problem, you can proceed with the second method. It only works for phones that are currently rooted, so it is not recommended for users who are new to rooting. If you find the device slow or not functioning as expected after a reset, try backing up your data before performing another reset or factory restore to ensure that you don't lose any vital information.
