How to reset or factory restore ZTE Nova 4 V8000 device?
Resetting or factory restoring a device can be useful when you encounter problems with your device such as lagging, freezing, or if you want to start fresh from scratch. This can be done on ZTE Nova 4 V8000 device by following one of the methods below:
1. Resetting through the Home screen
- Go to the settings of your device.
- Scroll down and click on "Back up and reset" > "Factory data reset".
- Select "Reset device" and you'll be prompted to enter your PIN or pattern.
- Once you've entered your PIN or pattern, select "erase everything" and your device will start to rest.
2. Restoring through recovery mode
- Go to the settings of your device.
- Scroll down and click "About phone" > "Build number".
- Tap the build number repeatedly until you see "You are now a developer".
- Go back to the settings and click on "Developer options".
- Scroll down and click on "OEM" > "Build number".
- Tap the build number repeatedly until you see "Android 8.0".
- Reboot the device and wait for the "Recovery mode" menu to appear.
- Once it appears, use the volume down key and the power key to select "Install zip from SD card" > "Choose zip file from SD card" > select the downloaded firmware zip file.
- Once the firmware has been installed, select "Reboot system" and your device will start to rest.

- Type "adb devices" to verify that your device is connected.
- Type "adb reboot recovery" to enter recovery mode on your device.
