How to reset or factory restore ZTE N290 device?
There are multiple ways to reset or factory restore a ZTE N290 device:
Method 1: Using Hard Wired Method
1.1. Turn off the device and connect it to the computer using a USB cable.
1.2. Open a command prompt window by pressing the Windows key + R, type "cmd" and press Enter.
1.3. Type "cd C:\USB drivers USB device detection program folder" and press Enter to navigate to the USB driver folder.
1.4. Type "adb devices" command to check the device connection status.
1.5. Now, type "adb reboot bootloader" command to reboot the device into bootloader mode.
1.6. Type "fastboot erase userdata" command to erase the user data and factory reset the device.
1.7. Type "adb reboot recovery" command to reboot the device into recovery mode.
1.8. From recovery mode, select "Wipe data/factory reset" and choose "Yes - delete all user data" to proceed with the reset process.
1.9. Reboot the device to complete the reset process.
Method 2: Using Soft Wired Method
2.1. Turn off the device and connect it to the computer using a USB cable.
2.2. Open ZTE N290 USB Drivers and select "Update Firmware" option.
2.3. Choose the "Custom Firmware" option and select the firmware file with the ".zip" extension.
2.4. Select "Update Firmware" and confirm the update. The device will reboot into recovery mode.
2.5. From recovery mode, select "Wipe data/factory reset" and choose "Yes - delete all user data" to proceed with the reset process.
2.6. Reboot the device to complete the reset process.
Method 3: Using Recovery Method
3.1. Turn off the device and press and hold the volume down button until the recovery mode is activated.
3.2. From recovery mode, select "Wipe data/factory reset" and choose "Yes - delete all user data" to proceed with the reset process.
