How to reset or factory restore Vertu Ascent device?
Vertu Ascent is a high-end smartphone that has several options for resetting or factory restoring the device. Here are the most common and recommended methods to reset or factory restore a Vertu Ascent device:
1. Normal Reset:
* Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the screen grows dim.
* Release the power button and press and hold the volume up button and the power button for 10 seconds.
* Release the volume up button and the power button and wait for the phone to turn on. The phone will enter the recovery mode.
* In the recovery mode, select the options menu and choose "wipe data/factory data" and confirm the action.
* After wiping the data, select the options menu and choose "reboot system" and confirm the action.
2. Bootloader Reset:
* Connect the device to the PC using a USB cable.
* Launch the Vertu drivers on your PC.
* Backup all your data before proceeding to the bootloader reset.
* Choose the option to enter the bootloader mode on your Vertu device.
* In the bootloader mode, select the option to erase all data.
* When prompted, confirm the erase. The device will reboot and enter the recovery mode.
