How to reset or factory restore Spice M-5460 Flo device?
The most common and recommended ways to reset or factory restore a Spice M-5460 Flo device are:
Method 1: Resetting through the Power Button
1. Remove the battery cover from the back of the device and confirm that the battery is installed.
2. Press and hold the power button until the device turns off.
3. Release the power button and press and hold the volume up button simultaneously for about 10 seconds.
4. Release the volume up button and wait for the device to vibrate, which indicates that the reset process has started.
5. Press the volume up button again until the device shows the "Reset" logo.
6. Release the volume up button and press the volume down button to confirm.
7. Release the volume down button and wait for the device to shut down and restart.
Method 2: Resetting through the Recovery Mode
1. Connect the device to a PC using a micro USB cable.
2. Download and install the Spice M-5460 Flo drivers on the PC.
3. Open a command prompt on the PC and enter the following command:
fastboot devices
To ensure that the device is recognized by the PC.
4. Enter the following command to reboot the device into recovery mode:
fastboot reboot recovery
5. Wait for the device to reboot into recovery mode and your password will pop up, type in the password to enter recovery mode
6. Once in recovery mode, select "Wipe data/factory reset" and then select "Yes – delete all user data".
7. After the data is copied, wait for the device to reboot.
Method 3: Resetting through the Service Application
1. Go to the service application on the device, you can usually use the keys #*#, to access service damage.
2. Use the volume up and volume down keys to highlight and select the "reset" option.
3. Select "yes – reset device to factory settings"
4. Wait for the device to reboot and hold back the power button for 10 seconds until recovery mode appears.
5. Select "Wipe data/factory reset" and then select "Yes – delete all user data".
6. After the data is copied, wait for the device to reboot.
Note: All these methods will erase all of the data on the device and factory reset it to its original state. so make sure to back up all important data before attempting any of these methods.
