  1. Go to the NTSA website and sign in to your account. If you don’t have an account, you can create one .
  2. Click on the “Motor Vehicle Registration” tab.
  3. Click on the “Search for a motor vehicle (copy of files)” link.
  4. Enter the vehicle’s registration number in the box provided.
  5. Click on the “Search” button.
  6. The NTSA will display the vehicle’s registration details, including the name of the registered owner.
