How to reset or factory restore Philips S660 device?
The Philips S660 device can be reset or factory restored to restore the device to its original settings and remove all personalized settings. Here are the most common and recommended ways to reset or factory restore a Philips S660 device:
1. using the Philips Sonicare app:
step 1: remove the S660 handle from the charging brick.
step 2: press and hold the settings button (located on the handle) for 3 seconds.
step 3: release the button and wait for the device to restart.
step 4: open the Philips Sonicare app on your mobile phone and connect it to the device.
step 5: go to the settings menu of the app and select "Reset All" or "Clear Data".
step 6: confirm the action and wait for the device to complete the reset process.
2. using the S660 handle:
step 1: remove the S660 handle from the charging brick.
step 2: press and hold the settings button (located on the handle) for 3 seconds.
step 3: release the button and wait for the device to restart.
step 4: press and hold the settings button for another 10 seconds or until the lights on the handle start flashing.
step 5: release the button and wait for the device to restart again.
step 6: press and hold the settings button once more and wait for the device to reset to its factory settings.
3. using the charging brick:
step 1: remove the S660 handle from the charging brick.
step 2: press and hold the settings button (located on the handle) for 3 seconds.
step 3: release the button and wait for the device to restart.
step 4: while the device is charging, press and hold the settings button for another 10 seconds or until the lights on the handle start flashing.
step 5: release the button and wait for the device to reset to its factory settings.
Note: Before resetting the device, it is recommended to backup any personalized settings you may have, as they will be lost after the reset process. Also, be aware that factory resetting the device will completely erase all data, including any user names and passwords.
