How to reset or factory restore Philips 639 device?
The Philips 639 is a soundbar with various sound enhancement features. In case you face any issues or wish to reset the device to its initial settings, you can follow the recommended ways to reset or factory restore it.
Method 1: Using the Remote Control
1. Turn off the Philips 639 soundbar.
2. Press and hold the "Indian Subcontinent" button on the remote control until the soundbar starts flashing rapidly.
3. Release the button and wait for the soundbar to enter the "Initialization mode".
4. Press the "Indian Subcontinent" button again until you see "Initializing".
5. Wait for the soundbar to enter the initialization process.
6. Once the initialization process is complete, press "0" on the remote control repeatedly until the soundbar stops flashing.
7. The soundbar will now reset to its default settings and enter standby mode.
Method 2: Using the Back Panel
1. Turn off the Philips 639 soundbar.
2. Press and hold the "Indian Subcontinent" button on the remote control until the soundbar starts flashing rapidly.
3. Release the button and look at the back panel of the soundbar.
4. Locate the "Reset" button and press it.
5. Wait for the soundbar to enter the initialization process.
6. Once the initialization process is complete, press "0" on the remote control repeatedly until the soundbar stops flashing.
7. The soundbar will now reset to its default settings and enter standby mode.
Method 3: Using the Mobile App
1. Download the Philips Sound App on your smartphone.
2. Connect your Philips 639 soundbar to your smartphone via Bluetooth.
3. Open the Philips Sound App and go to the "Settings" menu.
4. Select "Reset".
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the soundbar to its default settings.
6. Once the reset process is complete, the soundbar will enter standby mode.
Note: Before resetting your Philips 639 soundbar, make sure to unplug it from the power source, or the reset process may not work correctly. Also, be aware that resetting the soundbar will delete all settings, including custom presets and audio profiles.
