How to reset or factory restore Philips 290 device?
Philips 290 is a line card device that can be reset or factory restored in the following ways:
1. When first setting up the device:
This method involves resetting the device to factory settings when it has just been received, unpacked, and plugged in. Start by using a wire loop to connect to the CCI bumper of the line card. Then, press and hold the LOGO button of the line card until the ring light blinks rapidly. Release the button and enter "RICONfig" on a terminal. Press Enter and choose "Reset config mode" and wait for the device to return to its factory settings.
2. When the device needs to be restored to its default settings:
This method involves restoring the device to its default settings when operating problems or other issues occur. First, remove the device from the network and power off the device's power supply. Once off, use a wire loop to connect to the CCI bumper of the line card, and press and hold the LOGO button of the line card until the ring light blinks rapidly.
