How to reset or factory restore Maxon MX-V10 device?
When using Maxon MX-V10 and encountering problems that may not be resolved by other means, it may be necessary to reset the device to its original factory settings. Here are the most common ways to do this:
1. Using the Hardware Reset Button:
The hardest two ways to reset a device are to use hardware button or via USB cable, depending on device and Maxon MX-V10 has USB reset function. If you have a case where the device is completely unresponsive, disconnect the external devices and then use the hardware reset button. You can find the hardware reset button by looking at your device's manual. It is usually a small button located on the back, close the device and power off, then press the button for several seconds until the device stops flashing its LED light. After each button press, wait for several seconds before pressing again. Repeat the process until the LED light stops flashing.
2. Using the USB Reset Button:
This is the recommended and easiest way to reset the device. Maxon MX-V10 device supports USB reset, which is the most common reset method. To reset the device via USB, connect it to your computer via a USB cable and then power off the device. Then press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the LED light flashes continuously. While you are holding the power button, press and hold the USB button. Keep both buttons pressed until the LED light stops flashing.
3. Using the OEM Software:
If you have access to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) software, you can also reset the device through the software. In order to do this, connect the device to the computer via a USB cable and then launch the OEM software. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to reset the device.
