How to reset or factory restore LG X venture device?
LG X Venture is an Android smartphone that offers a range of features such as a long-lasting battery, a durable outer casing, and a high-resolution camera. However, if you encounter any issues with your device, it can be helpful to reset or factory restore it to its original state. Here are the most common and recommended ways to do so:
Method 1: Using the bootloader
1. Connect your LG X Venture to your computer using a USB cable.
2. Open the command prompt on your computer and navigate to the folder where the LG drivers are installed.
3. Type the following command to enter bootloader mode:
Fastboot get-serialnumber
4. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time until the LG logo appears on the screen.
5. Connect your phone to your computer again and select “USB debugging” on your phone.
6. Once the phone is recognized by your computer, open the command prompt and type the following command:
Fastboot reboot bootloader
7. On your phone, select “Reboot System” and then enter your PIN when prompted.
8. The phone will now reboot to bootloader mode.
9. Connect to the official LG website and download the firmware file for your device.
10. Extract the firmware file to a folder on your computer.
11. Open a command prompt and navigate to the folder where the firmware file is located.
12. Type the following command to flash the firmware on your device:
Fastboot flash firmware.zip
13. Wait for the firmware to flash onto your device, which may take several minutes.
14. After the firmware has been flashed, reboot your phone using the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time until the LG logo appears.
15. Your LG X Venture is now reset to its original state.
Method 2: Using recovery mode
1. Connect your LG X Venture to your computer using a USB cable.
