How to reset or factory restore LG Tribute device?
The most common and recommended ways to reset or factory restore a LG Tribute device are as follows:
Method 1: Using recovery mode
1. Put your device into recovery mode by holding down the Power key and the Volume key for several seconds until the LG logo appears.
2. Use the Volume keys to highlight "Wipe data/factory reset" and then press and hold the Power key to select it.
3. Wait for the wiping process to complete.
4. After the wiping process is complete, your device will restart itself and appear to be like new. You will be prompted to set up your device as a new one.
Method 2: Using hardware buttons
