How to reset or factory restore LG Q9 device?
LG Q9 device can be reset or factory restored if it faces issues and does not work as expected. There are several ways to reset or factory restore a LG Q9 device. The most common and recommended methods to reset or factory restore an LG Q9 device are:
1. Using Software symmetric reset:
To perform a software symmetric reset, follow these steps:
a. Go to Settings > Backup and Reset.
b. Tap on Factory Data Reset.
c. If the device is password protected, enter the password and confirm.
d. Select Yes -- erase all user data / factory reset phone.
e. Wait for the device to reboot.
2. Using Bootloader Mode and SP Flash Tool:
To perform a bootloader mode reset, you need to use Bootloader mode and SP Flash Tool. Follow these steps:
a. Go to Settings > About phone.
b. Press and hold the Volume Up, Home, and Power buttons simultaneously.
c. Release the Volume and Home buttons, but continue pressing the Power button until you reach Bootloader mode.
d. Connect your LG Q9 device to your computer.
e. Download and install SP Flash Tool on your computer.
f. Run SP Flash Tool and select your LG Q9 device from the list.
g. Select the Stock ROM you want to flash on your device.
h. Click on the Download button to download the ROM.
i. Wait for the download to complete.
j. Click on the Load ROM option on SP Flash Tool and choose the downloaded ROM.
k. Click on the Read Back option to confirm the ROM is correct.
l. Click on the yellow circle next to the Backup check box to check for battery.
m. Every time you press the green button, you'll confirm if you want to proceed.
n. After Downloading, Flash Process will start, when it complete click on Download Side Firmware/ Bootloader/ Base firmware and wait for download.
o. Once the download is complete, click on the green circle next to the Bootloader check box to confirm you want to flash the bootloader.
p. Every time you press the green button, you'll confirm if you want to proceed.
q. After downloading the stock ROM, wait for it to flash. Once it is flashed, the device will reboot.
3. Using Hardware Reset Button:
Hardware reset buttons vary depending on the device model. However, most LG devices have a dedicated hardware reset button. Follow these steps:
a. Find the hardware reset button on your LG Q9 device. It is usually located on the back of the device or near the charging port.
