How to reset or factory restore LG G7050 device?
LG G7050 is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. When the device encounters any software issues, you can reset or factory restore it to its factory settings and restore all data. There are two methods to reset the LG G7050 device:
Method 1: Reset to factory settings using the settings menu
1. Turn off the device and remove the SIM card tray.
2. Press and hold the side-mounted Volume key, Power key, and Home key together for 10 seconds until the LG logo appears.
3. Release the keys and wait for the device to reboot into recovery mode.
4. In recovery mode, select "Wipe data/factory data" by using the Volume key to navigate and the Power key to select.
5. Once the data is being wiped, select "Yes - delete all user data" to proceed with the reset.
6. Once the data is wiped, select "Reboot system" and wait for the device to reboot.
7. After the device reboots, insert the SIM card tray back.
8. You can now set up the device as if it's new.
Method 2: Reset to factory settings using a PC and recovery software
1. Download and install USB drivers and recovery software on your PC.
2. Connect the LG G7050 device to the PC using a USB cable.
3. Open a command prompt on your PC by pressing the Windows key + R, then type "cmd" and press Enter.
4. Type "adb devices" to ensure that the device is recognized by the PC.
5. Type "adb reboot recovery" to reboot the device into recovery mode.
6. Once the device reboots, select "Wipe data/factory data" by using the Volume key to navigate and the Power key to select.
7. Once the data is being wiped, select "Yes - delete all user data" to proceed with the reset.
8. Once the data is wiped, select "Reboot system" and wait for the device to reboot.
9. After the device reboots, insert the SIM card tray back.
10. You can now set up the device as if it's new.
Note: Before resetting or factory restoring your device, make sure to back up all important data to avoid losing it after the reset.
