How to reset or factory restore Icemobile G5 device?
To reset or factory restore an Icemobile G5 device, you can use one of the following methods:
Method 1: Using the recovery mode
1. Turn off your Icemobile G5 device.
2. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds until you see the Icing logo on the screen.
3. Release the power button and press the volume down button and the power button simultaneously.
4. Release the volume down button and press the volume up button and the power button simultaneously to enter into the recovery mode.
5. Once in the recovery mode, select "Wipe data/factory data" using the volume keys and the power button.
6. Confirm your selection and wait for the device to reset.
Method 2: Using the OEM data cable
1. Connect your Icemobile G5 device to your computer using the OEM data cable.
2. Install the appropriate driver for your USB cable and computer.
3. Turn off your Icemobile G5 device.
4. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds until you see the Icing logo on the screen.
5. Release the power button and press the volume down button and the power button simultaneously.
6. Release the volume down button and press the volume up button and the power button simultaneously, then continue to press the volume down button three times until the smartphone enters into the recovery mode.
7. Once in the recovery mode, select "Wipe data/factory data" using the volume keys and the power button.
8. Confirm your selection and wait for the device to reset.
Method 3: Using the bootloader mode
1. Turn off your Icemobile G5 device.
2. Connect your device to your computer using the OEM data cable.
3. Turn on your device and press the power button and the volume up key simultaneously.
4. Release the power button and press and hold the volume down key and the power button simultaneously.
5. Release the power button and press the volume up key and the volume down key simultaneously until the smartphone enters into the bootloader mode.
6. Once in the bootloader mode, select "Factory Data Reset" using the volume keys and the power button.
