How to reset or factory restore Coolpad Shine device?
Please note that before resetting your Coolpad Shine device to its factory settings, it is important to make a backup of all important data, as the process will erase all data and settings on the device. Here are the most common and recommended ways to reset or factory restore a Coolpad Shine device:
1. Software Factory Data Reset: You can reset your Coolpad Shine device to its factory settings by going to Settings > Backup and Reset > Factory DataReset. Tap on the Reset Device option and confirm the action. This will erase all data, including your settings, apps, and data.
2. Hardware Factory Data Reset: In case the software reset does not work, or the device is not responding properly, you can perform a Hardware Factory Data Reset. To do so, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons together until the device enters the Bootloader. Connect the device to your computer using a USB cable and ensure that ADB is installed on your computer. Run the following command in the Command Prompt or Terminal window: fastboot oem bootloader and enter the recovery mode. From the recovery mode, go to Settings > Backup and Reset > Factory DataReset. Connect the device to your computer using a USB cable and ensure that ADB is installed on your computer. Run the following command in the Command Prompt or Terminal window: fastboot oem bootloader and enter the recovery mode. From the recovery mode, go to Settings > Backup and Reset > Factory DataReset. Tap on the Reset Device option and confirm the action. This will erase all data on the device, including the root access and any customizations made to the device.
