How to reset or factory restore Celkon C44 Duos device?
The Celkon C44 Duos is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on the Android operating system. If you are experiencing issues with your device and need to reset it, there are a couple of recommended ways to do so. Here are the most common methods:
Method 1: Using the Stock Recovery (Build.OOS):
Step 1: Turn off your device.
Step 2: Press and hold the Volume Up button + the Power button simultaneously until the Celkon logo appears.
Step 3: Release both buttons, and then press and hold the Power button only until the Recovery mode appears.
Step 4: Connect your device to your PC or laptop using a USB cable.
Step 5: On your PC or laptop, go to the Celkon website and download the latest stock recovery image for your device model.
Step 6: Open a command prompt on your PC or laptop and navigate to the folder that contains the downloaded image.
Step 7: Type the following command and press enter to reboot your device: fastboot reboot recovery
Step 8: Once your device boots into recovery mode, select "Apply Update from SD card" and browse to the folder that contains the downloaded image.
Step 9: Select the image and swipe to install.
Step 10: Reboot your device.
Method 2: Using the Bootloader:
Step 1: Turn off your device.
Step 2: Press and hold the Volume Up button + the Power button simultaneously until the Celkon logo appears.
Step 3: Release both buttons, and then press and hold the Power button only until the Bootloader menu appears.
Step 4: Connect your device to your PC or laptop using a USB cable.
Step 5: Open a command prompt on your PC or laptop and navigate to the folder that contains the latest firmware image for your device model.
Step 6: Type the following command and press enter to reboot your device: fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
Step 7: Reboot your device and wait for it to finish booting up.
Note: It is important to note that both these methods will erase all the data on your device, so make sure to back up important data before attempting to reset your device. Also, it is recommended to only use the second method if you have experience with flashing custom firmware images.
