How to reset or factory restore BLU C7 device?
The BLU C7 device can be reset or factory restored using one of the following methods:
1. Using the Bootloader: The bootloader is a special mode of the device that allows you to reset the device to its factory settings. To enter the bootloader:
- Turn off the device and unplug it from the charger.
- Press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds until the bootloader is activated.
- Connect the device to the computer using a USB cable.
- On the computer, go to the device manager and locate the BLU C7 device.
- Right-click on the device and select "Update Firmware".
- Choose "Recover firmware" and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once the recovery process is complete, select "Wipe all user data/factory reset" and wait for the process to complete.
- After the reset is complete, select "Yes - wipe data/factory reset" and wait for the device to reboot.
2. Using the recovery menu: You can also reset the device to its factory settings by going to the recovery menu. To do this:
- Turn off the device and unplug it from the charger.
- Press and hold the Power button and Volume Down button at the same time for about 10 seconds until the bootloader is activated.
- Connect the device to the computer using a USB cable.
- On the computer, go to the device manager and locate the BLU C7 device.
- Right-click on the device and select "Update Firmware".
- Choose "Recover firmware" and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once the recovery process is complete, select "Wipe all user data/factory reset" and wait for the process to complete.
- After the reset is complete, select "Yes - wipe data/factory reset" and wait for the device to reboot.
It's important to note that if you reset the device, all of your data and settings will be lost. Be sure to back up your important files before performing a reset.
