How to reset or factory restore Bird S788 device?
The following are the most common and recommended ways to reset or factory restore a Bird S788 device:
1. Resetting the device to its default settings:
To reset the device to its default settings, open the Bird S788 depend amidst daytime and evening or night. After waiting successfully for 20 seconds, press and hold the button of Q33 until the LED indicator turns red. Now release the button and wait for the LED indicator to turn orange. After waiting for 30 seconds, press and hold the button again until the LED indicator turns blue. Now wait for 30 seconds and release the button. The device will be reset to its default settings.
2. Factory resetting the device:
To factory reset the device to its previous state, press and hold the button of Q31 for 30 seconds during daytime. If the device doesn't respond to the initial button press, press it again manually. After making sure that the LED indicator turns red, take notice of the serial number of the device. If the device has no charge, connect it to a charger. After successfully connecting the device, the LED indicator will turn orange. Now press and hold the button of Q31 for 15 seconds. The serial number of the device will appear on the display screen. After confirming the correct serial number, press and hold the button of Q31 for 30 seconds. The device will be reset to its default settings.
It is important to note that both the above methods will erase all the data stored on the device's internal memory, so make sure to take a backup of all the important data before performing any reset procedure.
