Requirements for driving license renewal
- Application form – You need to fill in a driving license renewal application form, which you can get from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) or download from their website.
- Expired driving license – You must have an expired driving license that you wish to renew.Â
- Valid identification documents – You need to present a valid Kenyan national identification card, passport or alien ID card to confirm your identity.
- Renewal fee – You must pay the required fee (Ksh. 650) for the driving license renewal. The renewal fee varies depending on the number of year (1 year,3 years).
How to renew a driving license
- Obtain a renewal application form – You can download a driving license renewal application form from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) website at our nikonet cyber cafe.
- Fill in the application form – Fill in the application form with your personal details, attach the medical certificate, and indicate the class of license you wish to renew.
